President Mirziyoyev has ordered each of Uzbekistan’s regions to raise at least $150 million for healthcare by 2027, while announcing annual performance contracts for hospital directors, Harvard-backed genetics training and patient-satisfaction pay for doctors.
President Mirziyoyev has ordered a national energy master plan to 2050, due by mid-2027, alongside targets to build 5,000 km of transmission lines, 16 substations and 4.5 GW of storage capacity by 2030.
