Batyr Rakhimov, founder of Kapitalbank and former long-serving president of Pakhтakor football club, was elected chairman of the Uzbekistan Tennis Federation on 17 February 2025 at an extraordinary conference overseen by the Ministry of Sport and the National Olympic Committee.
