Russia’s Football Union has published an expanded 36-man squad for the national team’s November international window, with the first fixture a friendly against Uzbekistan in Tashkent on 12 November. The squad was assembled by head coach Valery Karpin’s staff.

Five days after the Tashkent match, Russia will host Venezuela in Krasnodar on 17 November. Both games are friendlies, and the Uzbekistan fixture falls within the international break that the Uzbek side is using to prepare for the Asian Cup.

The goalkeeping positions are covered by six players: Denis Adamov (Zenit), Stanislav Agkatsev (Krasnodar), Alexander Maksimenko (Spartak), Anton Mitryushkin (Lokomotiv), Matvey Safonov (PSG) and Maksim Borisko (CSKA).

The defensive line includes Kirill Danilov and Danil Krugovoy from CSKA, Igor Dmitriyev and Ruslan Litvinov from Spartak, Andrey Langovich and Viktor Melyokhin from Rostov, Yevgeny Morozov and Alexander Silyanov from Lokomotiv, Mingyan Beveyev of Krasnodar, Turpal-Ali Ibishev of Akhmat and Maksim Osipenko of Dynamo.

The midfield group draws heavily from CSKA, with Kirill Glebov, Matvey Kislyak and Ivan Oblyakov all called up. They are joined by Danil Prutsev and Nail Umyarov from Spartak, Daniil Glebov from Dynamo, Artyom Karpukats from Zenit and Aleksey Mironov from Rostov. The most prominent name in midfield is Arsen Zakharyan, who plays for Real Sociedad in Spain.

Up front, the squad includes Yaroslav Gladishev and Konstantin Tyukavin from Dynamo, Nikolay Komlichenko and Sergey Pinyayev from Lokomotiv, Alexander Sobolev from Zenit and Lecha Sadulaev from Akhmat. Two players based in Western European leagues round out the attack: Alexander Golovin of Monaco and Aleksey Miranchuk of Atlanta United.

Uzbekistan has not yet announced its own squad for the November window. In addition to the Russia match in Tashkent, the Uzbek national team is scheduled to play Saudi Arabia in Doha on 17 November as part of its Asian Cup preparations.
